Why Mindful Resilience

I'm Wendell Guillary, founder of Mindful Resilience. At 16, I lost my influential father—a tragic blow that left a lasting void. Despite this wound, I've transformed grief into a calling: healing others through words, meditation, and teaching. This echoes Carl Jung's "wounded healer" archetype, where personal suffering fuels empathy and effective guidance.

My journey began in Christian theology but evolved toward Zen Buddhism, much like Alan Watts, seeking fulfillment in experience over rigid belief. Mindfulness resonates deeply because it quiets the mind amid loss and uncertainty, offering presence—as Eckhart Tolle teaches—and resilience without clinging to desires.
